Bravo for Humanity
At Bravo International Group we believe that we can contribute to a better world. Building trust is in our DNA, in the mission we have adopted and which guides us every day. Starting in 2023, all our community-oriented efforts come together under the name Bravo for Humanity.
Over the years, we have joined countless ethical and philanthropic, volunteering, environmental and humanitarian initiatives.
We assumed environmental responsibility, when we decided to implement from our own funds the project of photovoltaic panels at the production unit in Fundulea. We are glad that 100% of our annual energy consumption is now supported by “green energy”, which helps to save 550 tons of CO2 per year, equivalent to planting 30.000 trees and reducing the use of coal by 220 tons. We support a cleaner world by constantly engaging in waste collection activities, because a better tomorrow is built from today.
We assumed philanthropic responsibility when we turned our attention to supporting the harmonious development of children in kindergartens, schools and oncology wards. We confidently support people with disabilities to achieve performance in sporting activities. We support athletes and believe in the power of a “Bravo!” said in his time.
Bravo for Humanity summarizes all our efforts to be with people and build a better, happier, more confident, more sustainable world.
Here are some of our initiatives.
Social and Environmental care
We support social actions directed to people in need and persons with disabilities, also environmental initiatives through our partners commitment.
Czech Republic: Assistance and support for disadvantaged families and orphanages
BRAVO EUROPA Czech sponsors Ibsenka School for children with special needs in Brno, which aims to provide education according to education programs for preschool, elementary and secondary schools. We support this organization to help them continue their individualized teaching special education courses according to the children’s special needs.
Romania: Support for families and children with health problems
BRAVO EUROPA Romania supports on their own families and patients with health problems. During our last implications, we supported treatments for cancer and physical disabilities.
Also, we support the initiatives of Regina Maria Foundation that invests in health clinics and education units for the ones in needs.
Germany: Sponsorship for TTV Bernburg 08 e.V.
Bravo Europa sponsored the initiative “Association for Child and Adolescent Care Bernburg e.V.” – construction of a center for children from families whose parents have drug addictive problems. Our involvement, together with other companies, consisted in the construction of a place dedicated for activities suitable for this center.
At the same time, Bravo Europa supported Fabian, a 12-year-old boy in a wheelchair, in participating in an important ping-pong competition.
Romania: Shelter for families in need
BRAVO EUROPA Romania sponsored Habitat for Humanity initiatives to ensure a place where everyone has a decent place to live in, so to build homes in different local communities. We provided metal tiles and accessories for the roofs of the houses.
Romania: truly commited to the environment protection
This activity is part of the plans of the company to be involved into community and the continuous activities to keep the environment clean. Within the “Let’s Do It Romania” campaign results, the team cleaned 4 streets in Fundulea city. The initiative to attend this event came from the employees of the company, gathering and respecting the organizational activity management of the campaign.
“BRAVO EUROPA’s philosophy is that success is not possible unless connected to the communities and environment. And in this respect the company provides updated technologically products in modern units across Europe that are efficient in processing raw materials, pollute less and output less scraps. So, we decided to be more involved in the local communities and support their development, their social actions in protecting and preserving the environment as a priority and a duty we pass to next generations “ stated Adrian Minuta, Group CEO Bravo Europa.
During last years we have gladly joined the initiative of Caravana Zambetelor (the Caravan of Smiles).
The Caravan of Smiles is the first and only project in Romania, which operates 100% on a voluntary basis. It is a community of volunteers, whose main desire is to give smiles and joy from the heart where “normality” is represented by the metal beds of the hospital or placement centers, where the second family is the medical staff, where happiness it needs to be given and received. The objective of the Caravan of Smiles is to encourage the community to live the experience of giving, all transposed into moments and feelings that become valuable memories for all those involved.
The actions that Bravo Europa braced were related to the activities for children with oncological diseases, hospitalized at the Bucharest Oncological Institute.
Bravo Europa Czech Republic supports young scouts
In cooperation with a scout in the region of South Moravia, Bravo Europa provided the roof as a sponsorship gift. The new building will serve young people as a material warehouse. The roof is in the color RAL 6005, trapezoidal sheet metal H12 was used and the young scouts managed the assembly themselves. We are looking forward to another cooperation!
We give a chance to a better education – New roof for the “Marin Preda” Gymnasium School, Silistea Gumesti, Romania
In May, Bravo Europa was involved in the renovation of the middle school in Silistea Gumesti, the village where Marin Preda, well known Romanian author, grew up and the place where the action of the famous novel “Morometii” took place. A complete BELPROFILE roof system was donated, and our team of specialists took care of assembling the offered materials in the best conditions. We support the development of young people and we want to offer them a lasting school, where they can feel and learn safely and in good conditions.
Located in the northwest of Teleorman county, on the border with Argeş county, the commune has an area of 4858 hectares, with a current population of 2542 people. Silistea Gumesti is said to be the symbolic village of Romanian literature and ruralism, the village where Marin Preda was born in a small house.
However, Silistea Gumesti is a commune like all the others, with many economic shortcomings. The proof is both the birthplace of the writer whose name the locals are proud of, as well as the educational institutions. The chancellery was not used due to the sagging roof, being flooded with every rain, the electrical installation is extremely old, the heating during the winter is done through terracotta stoves, the furniture is almost non-existent.
Despite these major shortcomings, the teachers in this school are actively involved in educating students, and to provide them with a more pleasant environment, every year during the summer holidays teachers repair and paint the benches, sanitize curtains and drapes in own money.
At Silistea Gumesti we met a special community, with hardworking and thrifty people, who impressed us with their hospitality, preservation of the traditions and values of the Romanian village. We are glad that we managed to get involved in this project and to help over 200 children from Silistea Gumesti to study in a school that offers them all the necessary conditions for a better education.
Romania: Habitat for Humanity – Rebuilding lives. A project for the most vulnerable in the time of COVID-19 pandemic.
Habitat for Humanity Romania builds and renovates homes in partnership with low-income families throughout the country. This ranges from single house builds to blitz builds of 10 or more houses in just one week. Rehabilitation work is aimed at improving living conditions for families through several types of interventions.
The initiative is extremely necessary, especially in the context of the pandemic, when families living in inadequate conditions are among those most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The families live in houses built with improvised materials, unsafe for living or in need of urgent repairs. At the end of the project, families will have a decent and safe place to live. The works will be carried out by the Habitat for Humanity Romania construction team and involve interventions such as: carpentry replacement, roof repairs, interior finishes (plastering, painting, flooring), installation of new heating system, installation of parquet flooring, etc.
Bravo Europa Romania participated to this project with roof materials in value of 40 K Euro.

Romania – Mircea Nedelciu Secondary School, Fundulea – Award ceremony 2021
The school year 2020 – 2021 was a difficult road in some places, for children and teachers, but also for parents alike. However, it has brought us together and united us perhaps more than any other year.
We wanted to support the team of dedicated teachers of Mircea Nedelciu Secondary School, Fundulea in the activity of awarding books, diplomas and bookmarks of 300 children (45 preschoolers, 175 primary school students and 80 high school students gymnasium).
We try to show our respect for the school and the love for the children through small actions that will support them, to help them in their development, so that the local community will gain reliable adults in the future.
Romania – “The Adventures of Octopuses” – students of Mircea Nedelciu High School, book authors
Through the dedicated teachers of the Mircea Nedelciu Secondary School, Fundulea, I found out about a very interesting and creative project of the school’s students. They created and illustrated the “Octopus Adventures” project.
The story was invented and illustrated by 5th graders during an Art Education class, each student participating in the class, contributing to the development and illustration of the story. To motivate them and to reward their creativity, the teachers thought it would be great to have this story published. Thus, starting from the text created during the class and the images drawn by the students, Ms. Professor Ioana Madalina Ion edited the storybook.
As this project could not remain only at the level of idea, we set out to support the printing of the book, so the children will see their work in the school library. We want to participate in as many creative projects as possible, in which students are stimulated by teachers dedicated to working in a team, to highlight their creativity.
